Bristol Group ("Bristol Group," "we," "us," or "our") is a business brokerage in Idaho Falls, Idaho. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you contact us, schedule a meeting, call us, or agree to receive text messages from us, how we use that information, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at bristolacquisitions.com, our online scheduling page, and our SMS (text message) program.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to talk with you about your inquiry and to arrange and confirm meetings:

  • Contact details you give us, such as your name, mobile phone number, and email address.
  • Inquiry and business details you choose to share, such as the business you are interested in buying or selling and the notes you provide when scheduling.
  • Appointment details, such as the date, time, and type of meeting you book.
  • Communication records, such as notes from our calls and a record of emails and text messages we exchange with you, including delivery status.
  • SMS consent records, such as your mobile number, the date and time you agreed to receive texts, how you agreed (by phone or on our scheduling page), and the wording you agreed to.
  • Basic technical data your browser sends when you visit our pages, such as IP address and device type, used to keep the site secure.

2. How we use your information

  • To schedule, confirm, remind you of, and follow up on meetings and calls you request.
  • To respond to your questions and follow up about your inquiry.
  • To send text messages you have agreed to receive (see Section 4).
  • To keep records of your consent and your opt-out requests, and to comply with the law.
  • To operate and protect our systems and prevent misuse.

We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to the above, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. How we share information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers. We use trusted vendors that process information on our behalf and only to provide their service to us, for example a messaging provider that delivers our text messages and email and calendar tools that host our scheduling. They may not use your information for their own marketing.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or others.

4. SMS (text message) program and your mobile information

If you agree to receive text messages from Bristol Group, we send appointment reminders and follow-up messages about your inquiry to the mobile number you gave us. Details of the program, including message frequency, rates, and how to stop messages, are in our Terms & Conditions.

No sharing of mobile information for marketing. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Consent is not shared. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

The service providers described in Section 3 handle your mobile number only to deliver the messages you asked for and for no other purpose.

Agreeing to receive text messages is optional. It is never a condition of scheduling a meeting, speaking with us, or buying or selling a business. You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP.

5. Retention

We keep your information for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and our business records, and to document your consent and opt-out choices. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
